A minute is long!

We turned our backs to the clock and sat for one minute. It was longer that we thought it would be! We then watched the minute hand go around the clock to see how long we sat. That was also longer than we thought. We discussed that there are 60 seconds in a minute and 60 minutes in an hour. We discussed how to tell time to the hour and half-hour. We will continue to review and add to these concepts as the year progresses.
